Advanced Training Opportunities

Manatee Technical Institute (MTI) is a technical training center providing career preparation programs and continuing workforce education courses. It is fully accredited by the Council on Occupational Education.  MTI students and business partners have been recognized at the local, state, and national levels for their achievements and contributions.

MTI offers an adult high school program and an integrated multi-craft vocational training facility. The training programs are competency-based and state-certified in all applicable trades. These programs offer alternative high-wage careers to high school graduates while providing a trained labor pool for industries in the Central Florida region.

Manatee Technical Institute was the only large, area tech center in the state to meet all six performance benchmarks in a study recently completed by the Office of Program Policy Analysis and Government Accountability (OPPAGA).  Visit www.manateetechnicalinstitute.org.
