Registering to Vote
The Manatee County Supervisor of Elections mission is to provide for the security and integrity of the electoral process by conducting elections in a cost-effective, efficient manner, focus on our constituents and the fulfillment of their expectations in quality of service by maintaining accurate voter registration files and encouraging voter participation in all levels of government.
Newcomers interested in obtaining a voter’s registration card can do so by visiting the Supervisor of Elections Office (600 301 Blvd. W., Ste. 108, Bradenton; 741-3820) or any Tax Collector's Office.
Many local banks, public libraries, social service agencies, city halls and chambers of commerce also offer voter registration applications. To qualify, potential voters must be U.S. citizens of at least 18 years of age residing in Manatee County. Keep in mind that registration books close 29 days prior to elections.
