Avenue941 Receives $30,000 Grant from Bishop-Parker Foundation to Support Family Care Coordination

Bradenton, FL — [9/12/2025] — Avenue941 is honored to announce that it was awarded a $30,000 grant in November of last year from the Bishop-Parker Foundation to expand its efforts in family care coordination, ensuring that children and families in Manatee County receive the support they need to thrive.

This investment has allowed Avenue941 to strengthen its connections with families, helping to provide guidance, resources, and coordinated care so that students can succeed both inside and outside of the classroom. The grant has supported Avenue941’s mission of walking alongside families to remove barriers to academic progress and create stronger, healthier communities.

“We are grateful for the generosity of the Bishop-Parker Foundation and their commitment to empowering the work we are doing with students and families in Manatee County,” said Brenda Critchfield, Executive Director of Avenue941. “This award has allowed us to deepen our impact, ensuring that more students are supported holistically so they can reach their full potential.”

The Bishop-Parker Foundation’s investment came at a pivotal time for Avenue941 as the organization seeks to expand its outreach and enhance family-focused services, ultimately fostering resilience and long-term success for youth and their families.
