SARASOTA, Fla. — New College of Florida Men’s Basketball has unveiled its 2025-26 schedule, highlighted by a program-record 17 home games at SCF-Bradenton, exhibitions against two NCAA Division I opponents, and a challenging slate of Sun Conference play.

“I’m excited to enter into our second year in the SUN Conference and NAIA and look forward to continue building on our foundation,” head coach Andrew Wingreen said. “We return a talented group of players, while adding experience and leadership through the transfer portal. We also have a great group of freshmen who will make an impact both on and off the court.

“Our schedule this season will be challenging, but I’m confident we have the right players in our program to consistently compete every single game!”

The Mighty Banyans open their season at home on Saturday, Nov. 1 at 4:00 p.m. against Trinity College (FL), marking the program’s first game of the new campaign.

The team’s first Sun Conference matchup is slated for Wednesday, Nov. 19, at 7:00 p.m. against Ave Maria at home.

Schedule Highlights:

  • 7 games vs. Top 30 RPI teams from 2024-25 who qualified for the NAIA National Tournament last season.
  • 10 games vs. Top 100 RPI from 2024-25 teams.
  • Most home games in program history (17).
  • Two NCAA Division I contests – at Florida Gulf Coast (Nov. 3) and at North Florida (Nov. 15).
  • First-time opponents: Baptist University of Florida, North Florida, Embry-Riddle (Ariz.), Goshen (Ind.), and Spring Arbor (Mich.).
